# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • The slow cooker does all the heavy lifting while you go about your day
  • That moment when cream meets tomato broth transforms ordinary soup into something youd order at a restaurant
  • Leftovers taste even better after the flavors have had time to become friends overnight
02 -
  • The cream can sometimes separate if the soup gets too hot or boils aggressively, so keep it gentle after adding dairy
  • Pasta continues soaking up liquid as it sits, so if you are meal prepping consider cooking pasta separately
  • Not all Parmesan brands melt smoothly, so test a small amount first or buy a wedge you grate yourself
03 -
  • A splash of white wine in the base adds brightness that cuts through the rich cream
  • Grating some lemon zest over each bowl right before serving wakes up all the flavors
